Confession: Sometimes we're just too exhausted or harried to even smudge on a little lipstick each morning. And that's why we're especially amazed to see the spectacular transformations of guys into their glammed-up drag-queen alter egos in these striking portraits in the "Half Drag" series by photographer Leland Bobbé. The photographer meant to show the male and female sides of his subjects simultaneously to break down the boundaries that separate them and force us to confront and question our ideas about gender. The images were composed in camera (not digitally spliced). Behold:
