Pamela Anderson Just Cut Off All Her Hair. What Do You Think?

The sex symbol shears off her long blonde locks for an elegant pixie hairstyle

By Lesley Kennedy - October 31, 2013

Nope, that’s not a Halloween costume.

Blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson, known not only for her va-va-voom curves, but her long platinum mane, is now rocking a totally style-transforming pixie cut.

The Baywatch and Barb Wire star, 46, debuted her newly shorn ‘do in Los Angeles Oct. 30, wearing a prim to-the-knee black and white striped dress, a demure white cardigan (which she clasped at the neck), and simple ladylike accessories including a black handbag, ballet flats and oversized sunglasses.

Seems like a lot of stars are catching the pixie, er, buzz. Jennifer Hudson showed off her new cropped hair at an event on Oct. 26, and Beyonce revealed a pixie (that didn’t last long) on Instagram.

It may not be for everyone, but Pam? Part Charlize, part Mia, part Twiggy ... You are working it. Can we borrow your scissors?

Confession: We’re total suckers for wedding photos. Even the most mundane shots from a couple’s big day make us go all misty. That’s why our minds were totally blown when we saw these photos that Business Insider rounded up from some of the most outrageous wedding moments ever captured around the world. From underwater nuptials to a zero-gravity affair, we cannot. stop. staring at these totally out-there I-dos!

We hope this Japanese couple invested in a few pashminas for their guests!

Getting Healthy with Nutrisystem: Week 14.

This is the week where I hit a wall. I swear I am not making an excuse because I continue to put in all the work. I am following the program. I did my exercise and ate how I am supposed to. I will tell you at beginning of my post that this week on Nutrisystem, I did not lose any weight. I did not gain any either, but I am disappointed. I am worried that I hit a plateau.

I have had help with the dietician before, and I just sent off another email to her. I am sure I need to adjust my program and either add in more exercise or change up the program a bit. My body is probably used to the program at this point.

I do exercise a lot more than what is suggested. Nutrisystem suggests 3 - 10 minute activities a day. I walk (a brisk walk at that) for a full sixty minutes every morning. I also go to the gym at least 3 times a week for about 45 minutes and ride the bike and do the Cybex machines. On the days that I don't go to the gym, I walk another 30 - 40 minutes each evening. My evening walk has turned into more of an interval workout with a few minutes of jogging worked into the brisk walking. I am definitely getting my exercise in.

For any of you on weight loss programs, what have you done to work through that plateau? I am on track, but I still have those goals to reach. To this point, I have lost 22 pounds.

Want to lose weight and get healthy on Nutrisystem? Join today by calling 1-888-853-4689 or by visiting www.nutrisystem.com/nsblog.

M∙A∙C Holiday Collection 2013: Divine Night.

I am so excited to finally start talking about all of the beautiful holiday collections that have launched over the last month or so. I have been holding out on you -- I know. I feel October is just too early to start talking about the holidays, but now that the end of the month is here, I just could not contain myself any longer.

The first holiday collection I am going to present is none other than this stunner for MAC called Divine Night. You know I live for the MAC holiday collections and can't wait for them each year. This one does not disappoint.

M·A·C Holiday Collection 2013: Divine Night

Enjoy yourself – past midnight, the darkness keeps the secrets. Gorgeous colours in rich finishes captivate at every angle, inspiring an evening of lavish living, on the scene and to be seen. Blush and Skinfinish rise to the occasion, pairing rich, contrasting shades with the graphic impact of a limited-edition powder design. Sultry eyes are done with Mineralize Eye Shadow, Fluidlines and Kohl Power Eye Pencil in glittering shades of pearl, from red to green to gold. The ingenious double-lush brush of False Lashes strokes each lash with dramatic volume, sharpening eyes with ultimate definition. Experience finishing touches that are fit to fire up everyone’s envy: lustrous lip shades in nude, satin taupe, red and plum and glossy nails in velvet gold, darkest silver suede and blackened burgundy.

Of course, the first thing I noticed was the boxes. The black is a bit deeper than the regular packaging and the lettering is a shiny gold. The cases are also blacker than normal with shiny gold accents. It really is stunning. I love the contrast of finishes.

Overall, the collection is very frosty. If you have pores of fine lines, proceed with caution. I am a fan of the mineralize finish products though, so with a lot of blending, I found that the frostiness can be toned down. I don't mind the frosty look on my eyes. The only product that I have that I found to be overly frosted on me was the Mineralize Skinfinish in Scene to Be Seen, but that is because I do have some fine lines. Alternately, I really, really like Centre of Attention and have been using this over my bronzer and center of my face almost every day since receiving it. Of course, you can't go wrong with any of the Kohl Power Eye Pencils or Fluidline. I still use Deliciously Rich from the Indulge Collection, so if you didn't pick that one up earlier this fall, here is another chance. For lips, I adore Flair for Finery; this nude pink is another perfect nude pink for me.

Consider Your Hunt for the Most Flattering Lipstick Color Over

Nude, wine-stained, and red lips are classic hues that flatter any skin tone.

By Michele Laufik - October 30, 2013

To get the neutral lip, first line and fill your lips, starting at the cupid’s bow, with a light pink lip pencil and smudge. Then, apply pink lipstick and gloss. For a wine-stained pout, line your lips with a burgundy liner, smudging the line inward. Then, apply a wine-colored gloss. If you want to amp up the look, layer the matching liner on top and smudge. To get a fiery red look, line your lips and fill in with a matching lipstick.

Halloween Inspiration: The Warrior Princess.

Top makeup artists Erica Whelan and Emily Kate Warren have some more Halloween ideas for you with this Warrior Princess look. They shared with me the products and tips they used to create this medieval inspired look. The products they used are from COVERGIRL and Vidal Sassoon Pro Series, which can be easily purchased at your favorite drugstore or mass retailer.

Warrior Princess Halloween Look

Spritz alternating two-inch sections of hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Hairspray and loosely curl with a curling iron. Start at mid-strand, leaving the ends out.Apply Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extreme SMOOTH Combing Crème through waves and brush from mid-strand to end to leave hair full. Starting two-inches from your hairline braid a one-inch section of hair and secure with an elastic band.  Repeat to form two braids on each side of your face. If you’re comfortable with forming braids, add one larger French braid.Join braids at the back of your head with an elastic.Prep skin with moisturizer, then apply COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation with a foundation brush for even coverage. Set with pressed powder. Dust on bronzer for a sun kissed look.Apply COVERGIRL Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balm in Be Sweet on your lips and the apples of your cheeks for a natural, all-over flush.Define and fill in brows with a brow pencil several shades darker than your natural brow color. Lightly sweep bronzer across eyelids and in the crease for definition and finish with COVERGIRL Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara.
